  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
  • Base salary range: $104,243– $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

  • You will play a key role in fostering a safe, energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents.
  • Plan, develop and implement resident well-being initiatives, support accessibility pathways, cocurricular programs and pastoral care to all residents from a diverse range of cultural, national, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency.
  • Current registration/eligible for registration with an associated professional organisation such as Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of mental health support including suicide crisis and risk assessment and intervention. 
  • Experience coordinating events and working with young adults from diverse backgrounds, and sound knowledge of event management principles.

Special Requirements

  • Some after-hours work may be required.
  • Occasional weekend work and rostered on-call (overnight and weekend) duties.
  • Current WA Working With Children Check.
  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
