Brand, Marketing and Recruitment (BMR) is transforming the way they work to better respond to its rapidly changing external environment and to ensure future fit functions are aligned to key organisational priorities.

About the area

The BMR division exists for the purpose of showcasing the best of UWA, ultimately enhancing reputation and driving student engagement and growth. The division consolidates all marketing, communications, engagement and event activity into one team, enabling strong connectivity and improved effectiveness.

The newly shaped Marketing Performance and Operations team within BMR will operate as a cross-functional hub that aligns strategic marketing, digital experience and CRM management to drive student acquisition and enhance marketing performance.  

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Student acquisition and journey optimisation
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform management and marketing automation planning and execution
  • Website management
  • Inbound and outbound future students contact centre co-ordination
  • University Schools, Centres and Institutes marketing

About the opportunity

  • Oversee the optimisation of digital and human-led customer journeys, including website management, campaign delivery, CRM planning and contact centre engagement.
  • Take a holistic view of the prospective student journey from consideration to application, driving plans grounded in channel performance and student insight.
  • Apply data-driven decision-making and adapt to changing market dynamics to ensure ongoing performance management across all acquisition channels.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, business, marketing or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of the marketing mix / marketing program delivery and project management of strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and shape delivery of both long term planning/strategic direction and day to day tactical initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve high performance and personal growth.
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant marketing laws, the regulatory landscape, and experience in compliance and risk management within marketing processes.

Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant.
