About the area
The International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) is a world-class research organisation based in Western Australia, dedicated to advancing our understanding of the Universe through cutting-edge technology and international collaboration. Established as a joint venture between Curtin University and The University of Western Australia, ICRAR plays a leading role in the global Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project.
About the opportunity
- This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of project cost control, forecasting, and reporting across complex delivery programs.
- You will work closely with engineering, project, and finance teams to provide clear financial insight that supports confident decision making.
- Contribute to transparent financial reporting to UWA, ICRAR, SKAO, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, variance analysis, and forecasts.
About you
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with relevant professional accreditation.
- Experience in financial management roles within large, complex projects.
- Familiarity with NEC4 Option C contracts and global financial governance requirements.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to integrate financial management practices with technical project milestones.
